Erdogan receives Hind Rajab’s Family who got killed by Israel

(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday welcomed the family and close relatives of six-year-old Palestinian child Hind Rajab, who lost her life after being trapped inside a vehicle during an Israeli assault in Gaza, according to reports.

The meeting took place at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, where Erdogan showed particular care toward the younger members of the family. He also connected via video call with relatives who were unable to be present physically.

The gathering was attended by Türkiye’s culture and tourism minister, as stated by reports.

Hind Rajab was killed together with members of her family on Jan. 29, 2024, after their vehicle came under Israeli gunfire in Gaza City’s Tel al-Hawa area.

Her story has since been brought to the screen in a film titled The Voice of Hind Rajab, which was recently shown during a special screening at the Presidential Complex, an event attended by her family, according to reports.
